Moroccan Beach Horsemen:
A Unique Atlantic Tradition
Once a year, a small Atlantic beach near El Jadida becomes a gathering place for horsemen from across Morocco. It is one of the rare places where horses and people share the same sea, swimming side by side. Before the evening Tbourida, young riders bring their horses to swim, cool down, and wash in the Atlantic. For a few hours, the beach becomes a meeting point of youth, horses, and tribal traditions.
